
Saturday completed the workout portion of my Fit & Strong Pre & Post Natal Workout. This is a picture of my sister Bobbi, myself at nearly 6 weeks post op and my sister Melanie.
A very big thank you to Cathe Friedrich who gave us all of our equipment for the shoot. The Fitness By Cathe equipment was perfect for this workout, it's so versatile and works with any form of activity, not to mention the bright colors were a nice addition to the set.
The DVD will be one DVD with two parts - Prenatal Workout and Postnatal Workout, plus a bunch of extras that are fun and informative.
The Prenatal workout shows safe and effective exercises you can do all the way through your pregnancy. I was 37 weeks pregnant when I filmed this and I did it to show you that even in your last trimester, if you have been active throughout your pregnancy and are feeling well, there is no reason you can't continue to exercise all the way through. We use minimal equipment, so even if you don't have a lot of stuff at home, you can do this workout with the bare minimum. All equipment will be posted on the back of the DVD. The objective of the Prenatal Workout is to keep you Fit & Strong, not to lose weight or change your body.
The Postnatal portion of the DVD gives you options, this workout is four ten minute circuits - and I am still feeling it from Saturday! The circuits involve multiple muscle groups, work your entire body and will definitely help you get your pre-baby body back! The exercises are innovative, fun and easy to do. In the first circuit I do them with one type of equipment and in the second circuit I show you equipment options - for those of you who don't have a lot of equipment at home.
