One great way to strengthen your upper body and help make sure your punches are strong and precise is to train using bands.
Do the following exercises for one minute each and do them 3x, to help you get your upper body ready for combat!
1). Jabs - put your band around a pole or column and hold the handles, jab forward with both your right arm and then your left arm for one minute without stopping. If this is too easy, use a tougher band.
2). Repeat the same motion above but do crosses - one arm at a time - remember, crosses come from the BACK leg.
3). Uppercuts - repeat the above movement but doing uppercuts. Remember, uppercuts are a verticle punch aiming for under your opponents chin
